This past spring saw the eviction and subsequent displacement of over 200 tenants of the EMF Building, a rehearsal studio/arts complex in Cambridge, MA. Ben Simon, a former EMF tenant and organizer with Cambridge Artists Coalition, joined me to discuss the underlying issues that allowed this to happen, the activism that has arisen in response and whether it will ultimately have any effect.

MUSIC FROM THE SHOW:

Toby Tantrum, "A City Is Not a Dormitory" (from Community for Those Who Can Afford It)
